This ancient Silk Road route takes you across Kyrgyzstan’s alpine passes, Tajikistan’s remote Pamir Mountains, and into the heart of Central Asian culture. From bustling Bishkek to serene alpine lakes, high-altitude villages, rugged cliffs, and moon-like landscapes, this is more than a road trip — it’s a soul-awakening expedition through one of the last wild regions of the world.

Day 1:

Arrival in Bishkek & City Tour Welcome to Kyrgyzstan! After airport pickup, enjoy a guided city tour of Bishkek, including Ala-Too Square, Osh Bazaar, and the Soviet-era architecture. Overnight: Hotel in Bishkek

Day 2:

Bishkek — Chychkan Gorge Drive through Suusamyr Valley and stunning mountain passes toward Chychkan Gorge. Enjoy forest walks and river views. Distance: ~260 km Guesthouse in Chychkan

Day 3:

Chychkan — Osh Continue south through Toktogul, crossing breathtaking mountain roads before reaching the vibrant city of Osh. Visit: Sulaiman-Too Sacred Mountain Overnight: Hotel in Osh

Day 4:

Osh — Taldyk Pass — Karakul Lake (Tajikistan) Cross the Kyrgyz-Tajik border at Kyzyl-Art Pass (4,280 m), entering the Pamir Plateau. Reach Karakul Lake for a highaltitude overnight. Altitude: ~3,900 m Overnight: Guesthouse/Yurt near Karakul

Day 5:

Karakul — Murghab Drive through the lunar landscapes of the Pamirs to Murghab, Tajikistan’s highest town. Altitude: ~3,600 m Guesthouse in Murghab

Day 6:

Murghab — Yashilkul & Bulunkul Jelondy Explore high-altitude lakes Yashilkul and Bulunkul. Pass through beautiful valleys and soak in hot springs at Jelondy. Hot Springs Overnight: Guesthouse

Day 7:

Jelondy — Ishkashim Follow the Panj River along the Afghan border. Visit small mountain villages and enjoy majestic river views. Pamir Highway Views Overnight: Guesthouse in Ishkashim

Day 8:

Ishkashim — Langar — Wakhan Valley Drive through the Wakhan Corridor with stops at the Yamchun Fortress and Bibi Fatima Hot Springs. Explore petroglyphs in Langar. Overnight: Guesthouse in Langar

Day 9:

Langar — Khorog Head to Khorog, capital of the GornoBadakhshan region. Visit the Botanical Garden and local bazaar. Overnight: Hotel in Khorog

Day 10:

Khorog — Kalai-Khumb A long scenic drive along the Panj River valley. Stop at small villages along the way. Distance: ~240 km |H Overnight: Guesthouse in Kalai-Khumb

Day 11:

Kalai-Khumb — Dushanbe Drive to Dushanbe via mountain passes and valleys. Visit Norak Reservoir along the way. Overnight: Hotel in Dushanbe

Day 12:

Dushanbe City Tour & Varzob Valley Enjoy a city tour of Dushanbe: National Museum, Rudaki Park, and the world’s second tallest flagpole. Option to visit Varzob Valley. Overnight: Hotel in Dushanbe

Day 13:

Departure — Farewell & Transfer Depending on your flight time, transfer to Dushanbe International Airport. End of tour.
